A young woman with a mysterious past and a deep need to belong. An assassin with unusual methods and great professional pride. One woman’s secrets unleash an entire town’s pursuit, and the truth proves as elusive as the killer in their midst.
Three. That is how many of Brandilyn’s novels I have read and one thing is for certain, I will be reading all the ones I can get my hands on (which I will make sure is going to be all of them).
In Violet Dawn, Brandilyn gives us the suspense she is well known for. This novel took me only three days to finish. I could hardly put it down, and when I did, it was not willingly. I even looked to see if the next chapters were short so I could convince myself to keep reading, thinking that not as much time would pass if I read one long chapter.
I loved the characters in this book; especially Leslie Brymes who I am sure will be making appearances in the next three books of the series.
The rhythm that is making me such a big fan of Brandilyn’s work is present in this novel. Brandilyn conveys the emotions that she wants her readers to feel through sentence structure which helps a huge amount.
No disappointment with this one, folks and I did not expect to be. Brandilyn is a true ,aster of suspense and therefore has further earned her slogan: Seatbelt Suspense®.
Great work, Brandilyn! Looking forward to reading more and more!
