The Wheel of Time “Pilot”

Last night, a small spark appeared, and that spark would soon set the whole internet ablaze. Someone had posted a picture of FXX’s late night schedule, and on that schedule was a synopsis of a show titled Winter Dragon. The synopsis spoke of a man coming home from a decade-long war only to find an unexpected guest. Who is this man? His name is Lews Therin. If you are a fan of The Wheel of Time epic fantasy series conceived by Robert Jordan and finished by Brandon Sanderson after Jordan’s unfortunate passing, then you know that Lews Therin is the name of the Dragon, which means a whole lot.

But what of this out of the blue production appearing on television in the middle of the night without any announcement or promotional campaign? Well, it’s complicated. I will be updating this post with a few links to help further explain everything that is going on as soon as I get the chance.
